Realtime Worlds' online action game is shutting down after only three months of operation. The game is still running at this time, but for how long is unclear.
APB Community Officer Ben Bateman delivered the stinging news to subscribers on the game's official forums:
"APB has been a fantastic journey, but unfortunately that journey has come to a premature end. Today we are sad to announce that despite everyone's best efforts to keep the service running; APB is coming to a close. It's been a pleasure working on APB and with all its players. Together we were building an absolutely amazing game, and for that, we thank you. You guys are awesome!
From all of the Realtime World staff we thank you for your continued support.
The servers are still up, so join the party and say goodbye!" Guys this is it. This is a sad day for all of us and I am hoping that there is someone out there that could see the potential of the game and buy it off RTW. Or people should make private servers. We would not be able to get any updates but we would be able to enjoy this epic game.
